While we have been reading our book, Kensuke’s Kingdom, we have been considering how the rights of the main characters are portrayed. We have thought about whether or not these are able to be upheld and if they should be, if so – by whom?

What happens for a child without guidance? Are you then the person in charge of your decisions and therefore, your rights?
