Year 4 and 5 became critics of their information sources this week. While researching the River Nile, they looked at different sources of information and discussed their reliability and trustability. They also discussed who it is aimed at and how this affects the way they view it.

Before half term the etrhos group met to discss the impact of our Rights Ambassadors and disucss how the different areas of our school are running during lockdown. We wanted to share the minutes with you all so you an see what is being discussed. We haope to have another meeting before the end of term.

Karys has worked hard to summarise her understanding of some of the children’s rights. She has also thought about the right to your own beliefs and what this means for her.

There has been some lovely learning based on the article of the week activities on Google classroom this week.

This month’s right of the month is article 38- the right to be protected from war and to live with the freedoms of peace time. We have been learning about VE day in school last week and will continue to learn about the world wars and what our lives are like because of it.
